Response to COVID-19

Our number one priority is maintaining the health and safety of our guests, visitors, and employees.  As new information comes out concerning COVID-19 and subsequent variants, we review and revise many of our operating procedures in accordance with the latest CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and hospitality industry recommendations.  As such, we have adopted new policies, precautionary measures, and staff training relative to environmental cleanliness, food safety, hygiene practices, and social distancing practices to mitigate any potential spread of any illness, including COVID-19.
We recommend and support CDC guidelines for vaccinations and allow our employees paid time off to stay up to date with such.  Employees who experience symptoms common with COVID-19 are to be tested and any positive cases are handled with absence from work for rest and recovery, based on the current CDC guidelines.  The resort follows the updated guidance from the CDC as it pertains to facial coverings.  Thus, requirements of employees to wear facial coverings changes based on our local COVID-19 Community Impact Level identified on the CDC website :  COVID-19 by County | CDC.
As guests of the resort, we recommend you follow similar guidance as it pertains to facial coverings. We also ask during your visit that you are respectful of all by providing proper social distancing with others when requested.  If you or anyone in your party are not feeling well or are currently positive for COVID-19, avoid traveling to the resort. We will work with you to revise your reservations.
Although we have taken many steps to mitigate the potential risk of COVID-19, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.  COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death.  By visiting Delavan Lake Resort, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
